HIGH
SCHOOL REUNION
People
come from far away places
To
visit strange, but familiar faces.
Some
have changed little,
Some
a lot.
Twenty
years and they have not forgot’.
High
school sweethearts fall in love again,
Just
as they did back then.
Caught
in a world of make-believe,
Reality
is hard to conceive.
Back
in the world from which I came,
Memories
of the reunion remain,
Of
what I found,
Of
what might have been,
If
I had married Bob instead of Jim.
